Found out a part time 80 series can do low range 2wd......

I forgot I had unlocked the front hubs and I put the rig in low range to descend a steep rocky stretch of trail.

It worked fine so I figure it's safe to use low range 2wd.

Also busted an exhaust hanger, time to fire up the welder.

Made a quick photo stop while our group loaded boats before a day floating the Beaverhead and Jefferson rivers.

That's super nice! I have always wondered about that fridge and if it would be big enough for more than a few nights out. I would guess no but who knows. It sure is nice that the rest of the top is flat and can be used for whatever.
Yeah definitely a smaller fridge. As cool as it would be to do longer trips, the reality for me is quick overnighters and day trips close to home are going to be much more common. So I decided to give this a shot. And yes, nice to have the flat area.

Same, been mulling it over for awhile now...Delta has a nice mount for a center console fridge as well. Both would be perfect, drawer for food, center for beverage.

In my build (I am on like the 4 iterations) it seems that the design centers around the fridge I am using...Dometic CFX55...so it takes some trial and error. It's perfect for me traveling solo but if it's for 2 it gets kind of tight. Oh, yeah I sleep in the rig. It would be nice if the rear doors would open up 90º so I could put the fridge there on a slide.

looks great. I'll prob use mine more for solo, but want to built it for two so my wife knows she has an open invitation. Unfortunately, she doesn't quite have the same interest I do in exploring in the LC.

I took a little road trip to Montana with my daughter. We explored random art in the Arizona desert, dug for geodes in Utah, got lost in the middle of somewhere, hiked the mountains in Montana and took in some epic sunsets. New pup came along as well.

Awesome pictures, thank you for sharing but you mentioned the new pup. Where are the pictures of the puppers?

Sounds like an awesome quality trip. I haven't been out to the west desert for geodes in ages, can you still find them?

It was an impromptu stop, and we were only there for about 30 mins, but in that time, we pulled about 10lbs of geodes. Or, a small bucket full. With more time, I’m sure we could have found many, many more.
