Well ran out to grab some things with the truck and discovered the rear diff was leaking fluid. Made a good mess of the backend, smells lovely. Looks like the diff breather was jammed up. Bought some 1/4 hose and relocated the rear breather based on some previous threads. Replaced with a new OEM breather/vent. Not 100% that this fixed my leak issues, time will tell I guess. Ordered a pinion seal in case the damage was done there.

Also found I lost a rear sway bar connect link at some point. Couldn’t find a good place to get the bushings and link all together so I went with this: Rear Stabilizer Link Febest 0123-LC80R Oem 48802-60030

Old one is frozen on pretty good so I have it soaking in PB Blaster until I give loosing it another go. Knocking out both sides while I’m doing it.

Then we found a Jeep and Raptor stuck and tied to each other. Raptor was pulled out easily. The Wrangler turned into a Garage sale.

Jeep, bumper, winch and recovery point all seperated from each other.

I was also super stoked to meet the Ken from Hanna Quality and hear some great stories.

Also drooled over the U80 rig.

So cool to see real rivets instead of f*%#g pop-rivets. I once had to remove a ton of pop-rivets from an old 1950s aluminum boat and return it to the original rivets. Much fun!
Pop rivets are for unskilled lazy people. They think they are fast and good enough. A good riveting crew can bang solid rivets nearly as fast as those pieces of s*** pop rivets take to put in and last a 100 years longer! Plus they look way better😁
