Some simple pics.... big thanks to all of those who helped out and got the parts to me. 28 hours up there was enough

Close to having a FJ62 axle housing set up with Tundra brakes. Caliper bracket mounted, 4Runner hubs installed (these have been turned down to accept the Tundra rotors), Tundra rotor test fit, Tundra caliper test fit. I wanted more thread engagement for the calipers than what the FROR brackets offered so I asked @nvrlose54 to weld nuts onto the calipers. Not sure if needed but gives me peace of mind.

Godwin, that's a spicy brake setup. I'm enjoying watching you slowly bulletproof your 60.

Fitted new tail lights to the rear bar. It is fun working on other people’s wiring jobs! One of the left hand lights went white - yellow - red - brown all in the first metre!! Was doing my head in!

After getting the rear quarter panel sliders done the exhaust needed to be extended 6” farther. Went to GBE Mandrel and bought an extension. 3” SS tips were $60 but he flared a 6” piece to slide over the 3” and clamp down on the pipe for $20. Still need to cut the tip at a 45 but much better.

After the rear bumper build I wasn’t sure where I liked the license. Decided to mount on the rear support of the ladder. Out of the way.

When I removed my fuel neck to take out the diesel rejection flapper I ordered both OEM gaskets and replaced the one at the one where you fill up and the one where the neck goes through the body to the tank.

Also ran a new fuel line with T-clamps to the fuel tank while I was there.

Mine through the body was completely missing. This has allowed years of dust to accumulate in the body cavity.
Cleaned out the inside and used shop vac to remove all the debris that had settled.

If your fuel neck gasket is missing I suggest checking inside your body and see what’s down there. A perfect location for body rust to start from the inside out.

Other than the dirt and dust mine looked and felt smooth. If moisture can get in there it wouldn’t be good.

Camping on Hurricane in NC. Can't believe this spot was available!

Removed console and 60s parking brake.

The 80 axle is wider so the 60s parking brake doesn’t work. Replaced the parking brake. Put down a bead of silicone to provide a new seal for the brake lever.

The 60s BRAKE light switch has a two wire connection, while the 80s has one?

Anybody know where the other wire connects too

They don't require your plate to be lit up in OR? Looking really good.

The 80s lever has a bent tab on the passenger side. I thought if I drilled another hole in the brake switch bracket I could get it to fit and have the lever hit the switch. It worked. 80s lever and 60s switch. Now its compatible with the stock wiring. Just need to splice in some more wire and it’ll work.
