Coil pack #3 finally crossed the rainbow bridge… searched through all records since new and from what I can tell it’s the original, so that’s 334k miles! It was burnt to a crisp, but lived a happy life.

Have you tried a high quality epoxy and putting the radiator under vacuum so the epoxy works into the crack? Maybe add a heat gun to help the epoxy become more liquid and the plastic expand a bit.Well that was a major failure…gave it 36hrs to cure and it failed in 10min. Went back and sanded/dremeled it all off, smothered it with another layer of JB Weld and that also failed. Assuming the failure was caused by high temps & pressures, I moved onto a high temp gasket maker. I decided not to tape it off this time and instead feathered out the edges. That just failed again today, except this time it was because the crack expanded beyond the area that was covered by the sealant. Now I’ve completely removed all the sealant and cleaned up the area to get a better look at it. It’s about 3-1/4” long now. Currently draining the coolant system of the distilled water & thermocure mixture since that’s making an absolute mess in my engine bay. Thinking of drilling two tiny holes on each end of the crack to stop it from spreading, then trying my luck with the gasket maker one more time. Any other ideas out there that avoid completely replacing it?? I’m at my wits end with this and it baffles me how this even started.

Somebody leaning on the radiator (i.e. starter replacement) could cause that.
I’m probably safe with my 4 on a shelf in the garage. I’m going to be a little freaked out about other things, if that shelving unit is going 88mph or 352mph (88x4)!If you have one of these, don't go 88 mph, things get wild.
Pics of the depleted bank account or the new tires?Pics or it didn’t happen
...you BENT the knuckle??? Wow!This is from a couple of months ago, but it was the last time I took the truck out. If you look closely, you can see where the top of the steering arm assembly is rubbing on my 285/75R16 tire. It didn't do that until I got stuck in a hole on the trail. Some makeshift wheel spacers got me another 2500 or so miles through more Baja trails and back to Colorado, where I replaced the steering arm/spindle and fixed the problem.
