What are Troopys?

Hopefully y'all won't think I'm ignorant or stupid for asking this question, but what exactly are Troopys? I've been spending all my time on mud looking up and researching on 40's cause I'm getting one eventually. Obviously they're a landcruiser but can someone enlighten me on them in general? Maybe post pics and info?

They're a longer wheelbase fj40.... there were 70 series also.

Two doors... 2 ambi doors rear. They were sold in lots of places except the US and Canada. Fj45s had the 2F. HJ45s had the H. HJ47s had the 2H. BJ45s had the 2B/3B. I owned two HJ47s. One RHD out of Australia. And one LHD out of Panama. Cool trucks. Look under my photo album at both.
