This a cross-post from the ATX clubhouse so giving a heads up in the event you read/replied there first. This is my first time posting in this clubhouse section but have been active on Mud on and off for over a decade. Developed crack in my intake manifold ('75 2F) in the plenum under the riser. Any recommendations on local shops skilled enough to TIG weld a few beads in the aluminum to seal up without damaging the manifold? I plan to take the intake and exhaust manifolds to a machine shop after fixing the intake cracks. New Braunfels, San Marcos, Seguin, and Lockhart are relatively local and would be ideal but might have some flexibility further south.
