Folks, a good friend in Houston (Katy area) is looking for a good welder/fabricator for a couple of projects on his '99 UZJ100 Land Cruiser. The main one is building a couple of solid swingouts for his Valley Tech rear bumper (pivot points already there), one for a spare tire and the other one for a cargo/cooler tray. He's a couple of other minor modifications needed for his front bumper as well

Can anyone make a recommendation? Please DM me or text me at 512-413-9295, I would really appreciate it!

I recently hooked up with a great fabricator who installed stainless headers and built a custom exhaust for our 1970 40 series. I strongly recommend Aaron Hehr of Race Lab Fabrication. He is talented, honest and fair.

Think he would be good to help me fix a poorly engineered bumper and tire carrier on my 40? I had a custom dual swing out bumper, tire carrier, and basket built. Looks great, but it was not designed well by the guy who built it. It bounces very bad constantly off the body (not good), and the latch has busted twice because of it.

I think that you should call him. I found him to be quite friendly and knowledgeable.
