I know it's sacrilege, but I an SBC swap would actually be better for me since I'd like to tow a popup camper with it.

Dave you don't need a v-8 to pull a pop-up, I do it with mine just takes a few extra days to get where you are going!

i pulled an f250 ford with a pick-up camper on it while he was pulling a jetski trailer...up and down the aderondacts in NY state...stock 6...stay stock!!!
