Find me an impact wrench and help me change the dry rotted BFGs for the Trxus on the 60 and we are good to go.

Let me know. I can swing up at some point with a compressor and impact. What size are your Trxus? Are you happy with them? Tring to figure out brand tire to get for the 40. I'm thinking either Trxus or Goodyear MTRs

I like the Trxus. They behave well on rain, rock and pavement. Not too much experience with them in the snow, but as any MT, I am sure they suck. And the autolocker in the rear of the 60 wouldn't make it any easier. Not too noisy, even with the meager 2000 miles I got on them. I am of the opinion that they will wear about 90% of the BFG.

Anyway, whenever you are coming north, let me know. I could use the help or just to shoot the s***.

Once it don't it will probably see limited time in the snow and ice and not really worried about that or noise.

I might be able to head up there some time in the next couple of weeks. You are located in Everette right?

No defunct charter necessary

so Randy what ever happend to our North Country Cruisers? Maybe we should get a defunked TLCA charter corner. :)
JonnyC - Hey man. NCC still lives, breathes, and wheels! Proof in the form of new dents in my truck. :doh:The question is...what happened to you?

I havn't seen NCC in the TT's anymore...figured that it was no more...most of my wheeling days are done...2 kids, new house, wife, payments, thats life...but i still have my cruiser, one day i'll tke my boy out and show him some good times !!!

Ncc was always been informal at best. Mostly a club of people who have attention spans of 4 year olds- so meetings and formal club stuff is out. Still representin' however. There were quite a few wheels this year, I only attended a few. The homestead was one of the most fun wheels I can remember, that was this past summer. I missed the Tri state wheel, but was sent disturbing photos proving it was....uh...open minded?

:)

So Dave you are selling the Runner to get a cruiser???? I can completely understand but I will always love that style of 4Runners and trucks.

Good point. I know you had some plans to lift the 4Runner and it will only be harder to sell it once you have more invested in it.

Exactly. I'm including the lift parts an stuff. I actually might be trading the Xterrains for brand new BFG AT's if I can work the swap out. That would make it a better roadie for me and I think even more sale-able.

I drove the 4Runner 3000 miles last year and most of that was to and from wheeling, around town on weekends and the rare trip into work. With that little usage, there is no reason I can't make an old FJ40 work for me.

Dave, next time we getout together you are driving my 40. You should always go for a test drive before you jump into another rig.
That goes for anyone else that wants to try it.

Yeah I know. Mine came with a carbed 305 and I will be putting in a TBI 350. The lack of originality (considering that it will be used for wheeling anyway) is a good swap for more power. If you want me to check it out for you before you come all the way down from VT let me know.
