Has anyone seen this type of scratches of wear patterns on a spindle? They are pretty evenly spaced all around the spindle where the inner wheel bearing rides.

This is from a 1/1976 FJ40 disk axle, passenger side, inner wheel bearing location. From what I can tell they are the original bearings and the axle has defiantly been neglected over the years. Hub came off pretty easy, nothing was seized and before teardown nothing appeared to be dragging and there was no grinding noises when you spun the hub, but I did not drive the vehicle it came out of. The drivers side does not have the same scratches.

I plan on using this again, think I should find a replacement?

Thank you!

Looks like tool scratch marks from a previous bearing replacement.
Might have had the inner bearing spin a bit and fought coming off the spindle...which looks like it has just the faintest signs of a bearing spin.
