Well as the title states I have been having some weird transmission/driveline issues. It has been going on for around a year now and is driving me nuts.
1995 FZJ80 230,000 miles, OME J's, Rancho 5000's, no CC, about 6,000 lbs.
I have the classic poping when accelerating which I think is the back shaft binding under load, most likely due to a worn slip yoke.
The problem I am speaking of is while driving my gear lever moves quite violently when I hit bumps or dips in the road, it only happens under load even a slight load, but doesn't when off the throtle.
Does anyone else have these issues?
My shafts have been removed and doesn't have too much grease in it.
