I installed a holley 2300efi and I took the hose that comes out of the valve cover and attached it to the fitting that comes out of the spacer under the efi. I got a loud kinda squealing, George Jetson car sound.
Traced it to that hose and the noise disappeared. So my question is
Where does the hose go ?
Should I just block the hose and the pipe in the spacer off?
Thanks
Randy

Here's an option.

The high pitch sound you were hearing may have been a vacuum leak. I don't believe the valve cover is to be under that much negative pressure, per se.

Thanks for the reply,
Option 2 is to Tee into the line that comes from the hose that's attached on the other side of the engine below spark plugs?
Where does that hose attach (the end by the carb)?

You don't need tee into the PCV line. Either put some type of small air cleaner on it, or tie it into the air cleaner.

For a '73, the PCV line ties into the carb base insulator.
