Clutch on my 01 Taco wasn’t disengaging properly. Adjusted the clutch pedal. Helped for a minute, but problem returned. Over 200k miles so figured I’d throw a master and slave at it. Didn’t fix it! Still had a weird, sloppy clutch! 
Then clutch stopped disengaging completely. Then I found this 
Musta been cracked, bending back and forth, then snapped all together.
