Weekend drives

Oh I’m not feeling so good about the LX boys. Trying to find the coolant leak and it might be radiator. Also have a pulley that sounds like death so I’m trying to sort that out in the next couple of daze.

Let me know if you need a hand with sourcing the problem. I’m pretty handy with useless advice…..

ugh. always a struggle. couldn't find my keys this AM to try and look and see where its coming from. when i looked last night its pooling in the fan shroud so im leaning twords replacing the radiator. the one im looking at has a 6 -8 week lead time. oof. lucky i have the gamblr trok to drive in the snow covered rhoads

i might need the time to work on the LX or the 8 other projects i have, thanks for the offer. im looking at a ron davis radiator. MUD says they are the bees knees but they are also like custom made to order race car parts. seems like a good idea before the spoli boi upgrade tho

I think our family is heading to Fairy lake on New Years Day. Not sure how much driving will be done, but plan to cook lunch up there, sled, maybe test out the snow shoes in toe deep snow.... I would be tempted to head over to Flat Head pass via fire roads. Or maybe we can get up there later in the season when there is more snow.

Well the LX is no longer leaking. I snugged up a couple of hose clamps and it’s not leaking bad enough to drip onto the ground. So I’m in on doing something this weekend. Did anyone nail down what day we wanna go? Saturday (tomorrow) works for me but gotta be back by 7 for a friends marriage trap engagement party thingy

I'm booked solid tomorrow. Have fun... but if anyone is looking for some chill drive on Monday.... I'm hoping to get stuck at some point.... if some people show up I'm game to work our way over to flathead pass road and drive home that way.

A nice day out would be great but I told them that I would be at work on Saturday.
