Gehn I was wondering a few things about the website.

Can we have a visitor counter?

And is there a possible way to have a paypal account for the club? That way we could renew our memberships over the web. And it would be a lot easier for somepeople who don't get to meetings to be able to join. Alex or David you guys have any thoughts?
 
I agree with the Paypal thing. I am slack to mail out a check And I get trigger happy when I see Paypal, its just too easy. :) :bounce:

amen, paypal please. I think the last time I mailed a check was around 1997'.

Wow, I must be WAAAYYY behind the times.

I just started to use paypal in the last month and still write / mail checks for all of my bills and here it is 2006!!! :eek:
 
I think there may be some legal issues to work out doing paypal. I like the idea. Let's let the pres and vice pres talk it over. I'm sure they can find a good solution.

I always use the interweb and phone to pay bills. I still have the roll of 32 cents stamps from 97 when I quit using the post office.

I guess there's some merit to that, even at 32 cents a stamp to date, times 15 bills a month, times 12 months a year, times 9 years = $518.40

That's a winch bull bar!!! :grinpimp:

That doesn't even include the time I waste standing in line at the post office!! :mad:
 
Keep in mind paypal takes like 3% so we wouldnt get the full amount that people pay for dues.

15 bill a month!!!!

WOW thats alot of bills. I hope that is for a buisness! no way we have that many at the house, and we use the phone and internet all we can as well.

And to get back on subject,
Charge an extra $ when you use paypal or something. Thats what TLCA does if you use a CC.

Good point, I work out of my house so those are business expenses / bills, too. But it averages between 14 and 17 a month combined.

Ugghh. Sometime I just want to move out into the woods and live off grid.

Dude I'm with ya there....to hell with all this modern s***....I'd like nothin more than to be sittin on the front porch of my cabin with my cruiser in the front yard and a pot of beans cookin in the fire pit.

Opps Guess I hijacked here but oh well I think everyone would agree with me on this one!!

I'd be there with ya, except for the whole you and a pot of beans combo....... that isn't something to mess around with :grinpimp:
