By all rights, this thread should be deleted -

I have a 1980 FJ40 - I'm removing a weber 3236 and putting a 3838 on in it's place.

Weber hatred aside, holy god I can't get that back left nut on, under the electric choke. I'm ready to call in remote help and just say to hell with it, you figure it out.

This is bonkers - what am I missing? This shouldn't be that hard.
 
As I recall, you have to lift the carb a little off the manifold and start that nut first.
