What is anyone rocking with their Weber 38 to vent the crankcase to the intake?

Right now I just have a stubby 3/4" K&N filter, but that is not a long term solution.

Which vehicle, which year, which vent? Air in or air out?

1976 FJ40 2F, desmogged, valve cover vent. Im guessing it is air out if I remember the diagrams correctly.

The pcv valve line out of the side cover is air out and goes to vacuum. The vent on the valve cover is air in, and goes to the air cleaner. When I ran a Weber 32/36 on my 74, there was a knock out in the bottom of the air cleaner for that connection. However I didn't connect it there and just mounted a separate mini air filter on the valve cover as you have it now. Since it's air in I don't see where it makes a difference. The pcv pulls air out of the crankcase and the valve cover vent lets air in.

On some vehicles with excessive blow by, the pcv can't keep up with it and the extra blow by gets vented out the valve cover and ends up getting the air filter dirty or even oily.
