Here you go, I'll try to get to the post office tomorrow. At least now I know how to repair a column shifter. :)

The section that looks like a C Clip goes on it - do I need to access that from behind the steering wheel? or was there a trick to it?

Couple before/after photos. Pump from under the hood was removed and regulator repositioned, then the one was added to the frame rail with a couple filters just in case. Keen eye will notice the filters didnt fill with fuel. Because the pump wasnt the issue its the flippin tank tube being clogged up. Ive had enough crawling around in the mud under it for today. Maybe tomorrow ill want to suffer more lol

Is there perhaps an access panel for the fuel tank so I can put like a little fish scoopy type net and try to get debris out or no?

PS the flaky stuff on the underbody isnt rust holes, theres like shiny black underneath it. original undercoating/primer? id say someone refinished it but theres no way lol

In the cargo area there's a small panel that you can get to the tank.
I assume the panel accesses the fuel level sender and I can pop that off and go fishin around in the tank?

time to dig out my extendo magnets. One of these days an update will be free of me gettin kicked in the nads by another problem LOL At least it was fairly comfortable underneath there, lots of room to move around without having to jack up the car. REALLY hoping I dont have to pull the tank. Not only do I not know how to get the dang spare outta the way, but its also got 10 gallons of gas in it and I dont feel like wearin it.

I hope the tank looks good.
You can disconnect the fuel supply line and run some air through it w/ a short run of fuel hose. Maybe blow it out from both directions...
Spare tire - you may have a crank under the rear seat to lower it down. It's on a winch. Stick the crank in the little hole under da tailgate ( 🐖 👈🤔 )
There is a drain plug at the driver side front corner of the factory tanks. Make sure you replace the gasket...

I dont know if I have the crank thing thats the major concern. The tank looked decent - definitely smaller debris. So not sure whats blockin the tube but ive been avoiding working on it till today which is my first day off and im de-motivated since im going to have more issues as soon as I start lol

I had to jump on this part though. got the parts from @scrapdaddy installed and i didnt have the washer or clip either. So found a washer in my stash, and an old throttle spring. Peened the spring between two hammers, heated it and made my own clip. Shifter works normal now.

leaned under the car, and the filters are full. Looks like whatever is obstructing can be moved easy then. Just gotta get to it

So today i took the rear hatch apart. To find there is a window in it, its just shattered. I shoved a screwdriver in the tract and pried out the old junk. I had the spare rear window in the back so i put some blue tape, and cardboard on it and put the tract back on and boom, rear window again. tunink. Motor has no power, so i hit it with the volt meter, and no power at the motor or the wooden spacer thingy. Oh well. But i noticed the pump sounded different. Lean down, and the filters are full!

So i let it idle while i farted around. And decided I needed to try to make it drive again, and it did. I drove up around the block, and then down to the gas station. Them tires got a MEAN wobble after sitting for so long lol but everything went great, suspension actually felt amazing. all three gears worked great as well. What a satisfying drive that was.
