Those quick connects are colder fittings. CPC NS6 line.
I get mine from Freshwater systems. They are spendy but pretty much leak proof.


I only use the fittings for pressurized water, not with gravity fed nozzle that just screws on and off when needed.

Where did you source that case for the pump?

14" in diameter, might be kinda hard to fit that into a Scepter jug.
 
Its said for 10 gallon water 1 ball.

In the racing fuel cells they use a had non-absorbent sponge like material. I wonder if they have something like that for food grade?

They make different sizes…sorry wasn’t looking close at the size. But you could get a bunch of 1.5”-2” balls and dump them into the water tank
