water pump leaking, any help would be great..

I have a 85 land cruiser BJ 60 diesel (gas model is probabley the same) when I start my beast up, the coolant starts to leak down and drip at the bottom of my water pump. She's leaking pretty good. Is there a gasket up behind it? is the water pump easy to get at and remove? do I need a new water pump? or just the gasket? Any help would be Great! Rob
 
Sounds like it could be the 'weep' hole on the WP casing leaking...indicating that the WP is beginning to fail...

Can you identify exactly where the leak is coming from? Maybe the weep hole or a loose hose?
