hey, would a faulty or buggered water pump on my 2H cause water loss,i have looked and looked for hose leakage for the life of me and can`t find any leaks....not even in the heater under the dash, i would of thought that if im losing water which i am, it would be noticable.
head is fine and head gasket is fine..thermostat fine...
and if so,please explain/me want to know why..

Crelok, are you finding any water on the ground? Normally water pump failure shows as water leaking from around the pump seals at the front of the engine. The impeller blades can also wear out stopping the pump from circulating the water through the engine. Take the radiator cap off and run the engine - if there are bubbles or turbulence it should be OK. Check the oil and make sure it isn't milky at all - if you have this = BAD NEWS.

Lastly, check that the lines are the right way around on the overflow bottle lid. Mine were wrong after a service and it would pump the overflow bottle out everytime I drove it - had me scratching my head for a while.....

checked oil/no milkshake
hoses are good,no leaks anyways, and theres never any water on the ground?
no bubbles just rumbling from engine runnin..:bang:

no visable leaks anywhere

hmmmmmmmmmmmm

rear heater lines seem fine..im isolating the rear heater hoses atm, just running coling system without heater at all..see if i can pin point anything...i will replace all hoses to be sure even though they look fine and we`ll see

If the pump were bad the high water temp could cause the pressure to bleed off through the weep hole of the water pump.

correct u are;)
my manual sais that.. cant see any leakage that is obvious..thought there mite be an inner problem/maybe?

Any coolant odor? When radiators start to leak, especially from the top tank, they will burn off the coolant quickly so you may only have some seeping on the radiator and a nice coolant smell.

Two tools would help here- a coolant pressure tester (replaces radiator cap, then add about 25 PSI) and UV dye for the coolant, if you can't find the drip.

allrighty then.
had a pressure test done just now,it took 2 seconds and the mech didnt even charge me:)..
waterpump spat out water big time/getting one 2moro,
glad i know what it is :cheers:all

Well done. So much easier when you've got the right tools (or you can use someone else's!).
