Imlooking for a restored FJ40, must be spec and period correct. I’m looking for one to enjoy for a long time. Ideally 1975-1978 but later models are cool too. Green, tan or olivehuge +

I must emphasize year correct - emblems, mirrors, doors, hardtop, bib, hood, tubs, etc. I’m not lookin for a frankencruiser formerly owned by a JCWhitney subscriber.

I’m very familiar with these, I’ve owned and restored... let’s see what out there.

I’m budgeted around $25k but quality commands price.

Morning! I'd check out lcnation.com to get an idea of what a complete period correct model will run you. Plus, working with Mr. Overton is amazing. I'm sure you already hear this a bunch, but a period correct model even unrestored is going to be well above 25. I looked for two years before I bought one from Mr. Overton. Happy hunting!

Thanks for the banter, boys. Note, $25k is a bench mark, I’m willing to move up. I’m not looking for some junk. I’ve restored several over the years and unfortunately sold them due to competing life requirements. I’m just fortunate enough to be in a position to get another!
