Never off-roaded and used as a commuter here in Virginia/DC.
Paid $48k for it before tax/fees in July 2017 and picked it up direct from the dealership. Cement gray, FSR was $42,400, but with the optional equipment below, purchase price was $44,672 plus close to $4k in warranties. Asking $45k. Not in a hurry to sell, but will work to make a fair deal. I've looked at all of them on the market and they are going for around $39-$42k without warranty, higher mileage, and from salty states.
Had a less than 10 mph fender bender on base ...... exactly why I hate DC. All repairs done with OEM Toyota parts ( bumper cover replaced with OEM, no airbags deployed, etc. ). Lifetime warranty on repairs. Fly in, drive home. I'm well known here on mud and in the local land cruiser scene. Honest seller.
Comes with $3,375 in transferrable warranties.
--Platinum service agreement, transferable to private party upon sale of vehicle. It was $1,895 for this warranty. $0 deductible.Up to 100K miles or July 2025. Covers engine, transmission, axle assembly, suspension, steering, fuel system, cooling, brakes, electrical. Rental car during repairs (up to $50/day), and 24/7 Roadside assistance.
--Platinum Tire & Wheel protection with cosmetic coverage, transferable: $895. $0 deductible. Replacement of damaged tire ($200 value), wheel ($440), towing, coverage of associated costs such as labor, etc. Expires July 2022.
--Crystal Fusion Windshield protection: $585. Replacement from chips and cracks caused by road debris for up to 5 years. I can transfer this to the subsequent owner for $49. Expires July 2022.
I also have a key replacement club warranty, but it's not clear whether that's transferable, need to check into it. Also, has side bars on it now.
Here is one recent pic and some photos from the dealership and it looks the same now, except for with side bars. I'll get some more photos this week, but just to get the ball rolling.
I think payoff on it is $17k, but shouldn't be hard to work with the bank to do all the transfers. If someone wants to buy it cash I can pay it off, but it might take a couple weeks to get the title. Too easy to just meet at a bank, use the notary, transfer funds, etc.
