Since I am off work today, I decided to finish removing the fender flares and start sanding her down. As I was drinking my morning pot of coffee and cruising the interwebz, I read a thread about putting Aisin lockout hubs on a Cruiser. The proverbial lightbulb came on as I remembered I have a pair somewhere in the shop.

After only an hour of searching, I found them. They were looking pretty ratty, so I decided to clean them up and paint them first. I also decided the circle and lettering on the other two ugly faded center caps should match the hubs.

A quick trip down to the D&G netted me a few cans of flat black, a can of red, and a can of satin finish clear.
I let everything bake in the sun for a couple of hours while I went and picked up the new (to me) BFG 33-10.50x15s that she will eventually wear. When I got back I slapped them on and I think they look pretty good.

I guess now I need to get back out there and pull out the back seats and side panels to remove the rear flares and start sanding.

Here's a little Cruiser Porn for your enjoyment:
