Quick question. I think I may have found a replacement head for my engine. My previous head was really warped. I also have some cylinder warp commonly called "corner warping". The question is can I confidently mount this new head on the old block or is it possible the block is also warped and Ill never get a good head gasket seal on it?

Put a straight edge on it, the repair manual should have instructions with pictures.

Is your little angry red face telling my little purple face  that you managed to warp a block ?

Not warped enough to warrant replacing it. But if you look thru my thread you can see where the first pass and second pass found the high spots. It hit the opposing corners first.

I thought in that picture it looked like one corner had been planed. As for looking through your thread, no thank you. In case you havent noticed your thread is a big fat 39 page monster. You've been feeding it too much ;)
