Warn wireless remotes work good? (1 Viewer)

Was thinking of gettn a Warn wireless remote for my 8274-50, anyone have any experience with them, pros/ cons?

just another thing to go wrong in my eyes.
Why don't you just do an in cab switch?
 
hmmm, didnt think of that, do alot of folks do this? Thought the idea was to kinda get out of the vehicle for safety? I like it the idea though

well i wouldn't winch out of the truck... You can still drive it a bit to help get it out.
80 series guys do it. I have no problems having a cord.
 
I do alot of exploring by my self and of course only have 2 hands. My winch remote control is PRICELESS . I use it between my trusty 24V M8000 and my very old 24V 8274.

This tool is perfect for the SOLOIST. Just BE CAREFULL at all times when winching.
 
been wondering about those.
A great concept IMO.
Was surprised though that their spec'd range is only 100 ft IIRC. I would have designed more in for safety's sake.
Might want to make sure that the specificity to the one winch is secure enough. Could be interesting if you use your remote and all the winches in the party start to pull line in.... :)
