This HS9500 came to me in a sad way. It obviously lived a neglected life even though it was rebuilt at least once but that was a very sub-standard operation. The only good part was the ‘almost new’ motor but everything else was a disaster. Unfortunately, the control box couldn’t be saved so it ended up with a new Warn factory box.

This HS9500 rebuilt & meticulously restored using genuine Warn replacement parts. All exterior parts were sandblasted and powder coated.

Warn does not offer replacement HS9500 decals so this guy is looking a little naked.

This one is going to be a little spendy since it needed a bunch of new parts plus the control box.

Be happy to send you a video of the winch in action or we can zoom/FaceTime etc if you wanna see it roll.

$700 includes shipping anywhere in the lower 48.

Thanks, Jonathan

sweet resto ! stickerless looks much simpler/ utilitarian imho :smokin:
Yeah, I kinda like it as well but some like to show off the model they have.....

Interested. I'm starting to shop for a winch for my 100 series. Have a 8274 on my 40. The winch and Warn have treated me well so I'd like to get another Warn. with your resto is this winch waterproof like warns current models? Going to use a trail tailor hidden winch mount. Do you know if this winch will work? Saw a post where a guy put the HF Badlands winch on his 100. Just had to cut a bumper support a little. Help me avoid not going with a Warn.

The Warn contactor/control box is waterproof, you can research it but it’s as tough as they come.

The planetary side, the short side with the reduction gears, is waterproof since I use two new gaskets between each section.

The motor side is kinda waterproof; Warn does not call for gaskets between the two joints but I try to seal with silicone sealer. However, if you wanted/needed to ‘clock’ the motor, you would need to separate at the joints and reseal.

Hope that helps ?

Thanks ! Unfortunately, I might be done for a bit since I have no inventory on my bench, I’m outta candidates for refurb ! I have not been able to find anything local to me to wrench on.

If anyone has a non-op Warn in the Bay Area that they want to get rid of, pls hit me up.

Regards,
