Warm VR-12 Soleniod wires

Hi all,

I'm working on my winch install, and when I unboxed the winch, it had a cracked plastic housing on the solenoid cover.

The bolts that hold the whole cross piece assembly together were finger tight. I'm thinking maybe I got a returned product, when I paid for a new one...

So to make sure everything is cool, I removed the cracked cover to look inside at the solenoid wiring. It seems good.

Except there is a green wire that is not terminated coming from a small box off the the side. I suspect for might be the antenna for the wireless portion of the winch controller, but then again, I don't know, so thought I'd ask.

Does anyone have a picture of the guts of your Warn VR solenoid? Or a good wiring diagram that I could cross check?

Do yourself a favor and call Warn Customer service. I had a similar issue, they had me send a pic of serial# of unit and the part that had an issue and they sent out replacement part gratis.
