wanting to put a toyota pick up power steering on my fj45 (1 Viewer)

I wanting to put a toyota pick up power steering on my fj45. It is out of a 87 toyota 2wd pick up, is it a smart idea to install this unit?

If any1 has installed a early toyota pickup kit on a 45/40 please let me know if I am wasting my time or if I should move forward and re use some of my spare parts.

An 87 box is probably an independent suspension and will not work.

i'm using a 87 ifs 4runner box and it works great even with 39" tall tires
