Hello,

I am looking for the piece that goes above the passenger door in a soft top configuration. It sits around the one frame piece and then secures to the windshield frame. Need one bad, any laying around the garage? 1975 FJ40,

Check with Mark from Mark's off road, He might have one. BTW I'm looking for the left side if anyone has one. Thank's, John

have you tried sor...i usually have them take a look in the back and see if a part is there....and it usually is even thou its not on their site

you can even have ehsan make one and send it out DHL shipping should not be too bad for just one thing like that....it looks like a ehsan bows...did you get the bows with a missing piece from ehsan?

Thanks pardion and JohnnyC. Yes it is an Ehsan and I did not have the passenger side one. I was trying to find a quicker solution than trying to get one from Ehsan. But all is ok now, Ehsan got back with me and there is actually someone that got 2 passenger side ones that he is going to try and get to send to me. I was in kind of a hurry to try and get ready for an upcoming car show and now this looks like it may work out. On another note I am very happy with the quality of the top.

I'm pretty sure Ehsan makes these out of pieces off of hardtops. All my OEM pieces are one piece and don't have the three screws showing in the pictures. Really not to hard to do if you have the factory one to look at. Just cut the back to attach to the bow and weld the channel on the top. I thought about doing this for the set of bows I have that are missing these but decided to use the bow for an early soft top project instead.

We wont wreck so many hard tops. :). No. These are made from new steel. bent, hammered, welded.. All by hand.

Trust me I'm not knocking your work work. I can't believe the quality your doing with just basic hand tools. I don't think anyone will be able to compete with you on the hard top bows. If I didn't already have OEM soft tops I would be buying a reproduction from you. I just noticed in the picture above the three screws that match the hardtop piece, or are those not screws? If I had to make one I would use the hard top piece. But here in the US I think we have alot more unused hardtop laying around for spare parts. I know I've got over four hardtops in piece laying around.

John
