I don't think that would be too hard. You can download the Dan Foss BD35 wiring diagram on their site and pick up a 12V controller on eBay.

I'll have to take a look at the parts when I get back to a computer. I do have a copy if Danfoss' manual so in theory it's all possible but I have little patience for this any more since I purchased another fridge.
