VX HDJ81. Speedo works, trip counters don't (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

I see the speedo gets an electronic signal so no speedo cable. Speed reads fine, both total and trip counters don't move. I assume there is an electric motor inside somewhere not doing its job. Can this be fixed or time for a replacement? If it has to be replaced, where from?

The trip odometer can sometimes be repaired if it gets blocked by loose styrofoam insulation behind the cluster.

If both the trip odometer and the regular odometer quit, I think the only option is to replace that part of the gauge cluster from the junk yard or a part out. At least that's what I've read. Mine ocassionally quit and then come back to life, so it's something I'll probably need to do at some point.
