Are the 80 Series GX and VX manual / power seats the same ones that came in our 80s?

Not sure. I do know the earlier years of the 80 series had cloth manual seats. They are more comfortable and move back further than the electric ones. Oh, and I don’t have to have Gamviti on speed dial for the repair kits. Cloth ones on all three rows for my ‘97
 
Some are and some aren't. I have seen some that appear to be the exact same, some that are two tone and some that look like they came out of the weird Honda Prelude/VW wiggle stripe pattern circa 1989.
 
What I'm wondering is whether the seat FORM is the same, so that seat covers designed for 80 Series GX / VX will be a good fit for North American market 80s...
 
Ah, sorry. They look the same to me. Some I've seen have the power lumbar in a manual seat. Some look like they may have a little more side bolster. Here's a 94 VX.
