Title says it all. It seems to be a common issue for both lights to stay on after disengaging CDL and then will clear when the vehicle is restarted.

How common is this actually? Is traction control stay off or is it just the light that stays on? Anyone leave this issue be and still have A-trac work? Seems like a lot of guys just live with the issue as it seems to resolve on a restart. Some guys have even said the issue went away with frequent CDL use.

This is a garage queen so I assume CDL has hardly ever been used. Maybe switches and sensors are just gummed up from 20 years of no use?

I've seen all sorts of causes from leaky sunroofs to dash bulbs going out.

Let me know your thoughts. Thanks..

I have the same issue. Looks like it could simply be a bad switch. I’ve been managing it by restarting, but plan on buying a replacement switch soon. Read thread below and see last post for part number.
