Looking for some insight here, LX has been great, was just driving for the past 20minutea, pulled into an icy parking lot space, left the car running with grandpa and daughter, came out, backed out (car stayed on) and now my steering wheel is wildly crooked. E.g. at about 9 o'clock. No bumps, impacts etc. What could have happened? Prior to that was perfectly centered. Car still seems to drive and track correctly without pulling, just steering wheel is very off-center.

I've seen some other threads, but not seeing anything about spontaneous occurrence.

Sounds like grandpa dialed up some donuts and took a quick joyride?

In all seriousness, sounds like VGRS lost calibration. Do some aggressive figure 8-s and lock to lock S turns.

Love getting permission to have fun like that ;) thanks and will report back!

Well that did the trick- what a bizarre thing, although not the worst thing sliding around in a snowy school parking lot...
VGRS is Toyota’s name for the system if you want to do any research into how it works. I’m pretty sure there is a tiny little witch inside that module doing her thing.
