Not so sure where to put this thread; it would be wasted in chat yet it covers everything from expedition stuff to suspension stuff to technique things . Not 80 specific per se but some 80 stuff and lots and lots of LC content especially parts II & III as listed below. Very very basic info but cool nonetheless. Enjoy.

On part 2 when the narrarator was comparing the 2 vehicles, he compard the two 4 wheel drive systems, the land cruiser with its center differential and differentials locked and the rover with the center differential locked w/traction control, seemed like an even fair match. But what I don't get is, why in the first test before the cruiser's diffs were locked, he compared both vehicles /center diff on both, traction control on the rover, but no diff. lockers on cruiser? That is not a fair comparising... The rover clearly had the advantage.... Because of this he clearly stated that the rover had the better 4 wheel drive system when the cruiser's diffs were not locked.. Duh, its got a traction aid...

If you listen a little later he states that lockers will always best anything else, albeit with some steering control concerns. I think he was simply comparing the "open" axles of the LC with the "open" axles of the LR and stating that traction control can really help open axles along. Again, he clearly states the summary that lockers are the ultimate traction device.

Too bad he didnt use an 80. That would be a comparison Id like to see lol

On that note though, why would anyone spend the money to by a Defender? He had almost nothing positive to say about its interior....
