Hello Californian Brethren,

I need some help. There is an ARB locking diff on Ventura / Oxnard Facebook Marketplace that I would like to get my hands on. Problem is I don’t trust people on Marketplace. I do, however, trust people on Mud. Is that weird…?

Here’s my proposal:
1. I tell the guy you will be coming to pick up the locker.
2. I send you the money for the locker via venmo/paypal/USPS money order/whatever you want.
3. I also send you the money for shipment to me here in Colorado.
4. I also send you a little extra for your trouble. Enough to buy a case of beer and three gallons of gas.
5. You go get the locker.
6. You ship it to me.
7. We become friends for life, and you can crash at my house when you come to Fort Collins.

Please let me know if any of you mudders are down to help a bro.

Cheers,
Peter
Note: The locker is for my Sequoia, so don’t worry when you see it and realize it won’t fit a cruiser.

When I saw this I thought for sure it wasn't going to be near me but I'm in Ventura. Where is the diff actually located? I could definitely help you out with picking it up and shipping, but I wouldn't know what to look for to see if it's in good condition or not if used.

Hi Breck,
Here is a screen shot of the location from Facebook.
Is that anywhere near you?

The dude claims it is brand new.
I think if you just take a look and make sure there is a new diff in there, not a box full of rocks, we are good to go.

Got your PM. This is super close and I'm glad to help.

I'll reply to the PM and we can set it all up.
