The vents on our 100-series only blow hot air. Especially for the first 15-20 minutes of driving following a cold start. After that, the temperature of the air coming out of the vents will sometimes/intermittently respond to the little temperature control knob. But then it'll sometimes go right back to blowing hot air.
The A/C doesn't blow cold air under any circumstances, of course.
We live in a cool climate, so have been able to get away with just letting the issue slide for the last couple of years. But going on a road trip out of the area last summer was hellish (vents blowing hot air while driving on the freeway in 100-degree heat) so we're hoping to get it sorted out. Thanks in advance for any insight.
