Looking for a master rebuild kit for an F engine from a 72 model.
I realize I might have to source some parts here, some parts there.
Any input is appreciated .
Also, a good machine shop in Florida that can turn the crankshaft…
Thanks

Or, in lieu of turning my crank, a good one for sale in Florida?

Your best bet is to secure a decent 2F, will cost you around 5k less to have fully rebuilt. Parts for the earlier motors are very hard to find and rebuild’s are running around 10k.

What @Casey E said. I had mine rebuilt previously by 209Yod1 in CA (recommended by Georg (@orangefj45). F motor parts are hard to come by these days and pricey. There is a vendor in FL that does conversions and often sells parts here (@cruisermatt) that may be able to help. F motors vendors/rebuilders include: Classic Cruisers in CO, BTB products in Reno, of course Mosley Motors in Memphis (@FJ60Cam)-but booked for awhile and only if pushed may do the F motor ;).
