1992 Toyota Land Cruiser LJ70 SWB
This short wheel base LJ70 has been serving me well for the past 6 years and counting. It’s been my daily driver and weekend getaway vehicle allowing my to go out on the backroads when time permitted. It has been modded to suit my needs and has been taken care of mechanically.
Here are the details:
- 1992 LJ70 SWB
- Left Hand Drive model
- 160,000km (body) while the engine has (120,000km)
- 3LT engine (2.8L diesel outfitted with the turbo from the 2LT engine it replaced)
- 5sp manual transmission
- EGT and boost gauges
- 2.5inch Dobinson lift.
- Front and Rear ARB air lockers
- PTO winch
- Cruisin’ Offload front and rear bumpers, sliders, and skid plate
- Aftermarket rims with 265/70/17 Goodyear Duratrac tires
- Power windows and sunroof
The body is pinstriped from my excursions, a couple of the flares are cracked/damaged, and there are dents and scratches. There is some surface rust on the wheel wells which I've been keeping at bay. I go everywhere with this Cruiser and it is by no means a garage queen or pavement princess. If you are looking for something pristine, this is not for you.
The interior is good with no rips or tears on the seats.
The drivers seat foam is slightly compressed on the left side of the seat.
The carpet is in decent condition.
Mechanically, it is sound and runs like a top. No leaks, no issues.
I’ve got a stack of receipts for work done during the time I’ve owned it.
There are a bunch of spare parts that come along with this…
- front grill
- side lamps
- one tail light
- complete rear axle with disc brakes (was going to swap the drum brakes out for the disc brakes)
- original rims with centre caps (can get you a cracking deal for new rubber)
- rear door seals
- misc items
Everything will be sold together.
A side note: - The 2L engine that was replaced is running and in a friend's cruiser. A separate deal for that can be worked out if anyone is interested in it.
