2nd owner, imported from CA in Dec 2007, clean title
1997 FZJ80, 166k miles, 3X locked.
OME heavy 2.5” lift with Man-A-Fre control arm lower bracket and Fox shocks (less than 1000 miles)
Toyota extended brake line hoses.
Metal tech front bumper with Warn M8000 & synthetic winch rope and PIAA LEDs.
4X4 labs rear bumper build and installed by Cruisin Off-road.
Cruisin Off-road sliders with cats anti-theft protection, Cruisin off-road transmission skidplate, Slee transfer case skidplate.
Dual battery setup with in cabin switch, Slee windshield washer relocate bracket.
Manual throttle control, central lock switch.
Uniden CB with Larsen antenna.
Kenwood headset with subwoofer and Pioneer speaker.
Toyota OEM Snorkel imported from Japan, not the ARB one.
All auxiliaries/accessories run through a separate marine grade fuse box for safety and easy access on the field.
ARB fridge socket.
Line-X roof and flares.
3rd row seats stored in my house.
LCP Jack adaptor.
The Good:
Drive like a charm. Less dash rattling than my 2018 Tundra, no kidding. No check engine lights, D light was changed 5 years ago. PHH done. Engine is very clean with no leaks. Original head gasket. All fluids are up to date. Regular maintenance.
Newly powder coded OEM rims with new 285/75R16 Duratrac (July 2022)
New brake pads front and rear, new front rotors, new remanufactured front and rear callipers, new Denso alternator changed and hand brake rebuild by EBI Cruiser (May 2022)
Front Axle/Birf rebuild was professionally done twice, at 120k and 160k.
Minimum undercage/surface rust. Most on joints and skidplates. I don’t drive in winter since it’s not my DD.
The Bad:
Clear code faded on driver’s door. Original owner had a vandalism on the door. The paint started to fade 3 years ago.
Driver side seat belt ripped a bit.
Passenger seat needs the plastic screw to run smoothly.
Slow windows. But I have a pair of regulators and motors assemblies.
I used silicone sealed the sun roof to avoid drainage issue. The sun roof works properly and no leaks.
Driver seat has cracks, passenger door wood trim delaminated.
Driver side window/door trim delaminated. I have the new OEM parts. The rear quarter panels’ one were changed.
