About to set the valve clearances on a 2F which valves are intake and exhaust?
1- exhaust
2- Intake
3- Intake
4- Exhaust
5- Exhaust
6- Intake
7- Intake
8- Exhaust
9- Exhaust
10- Intake
11- Intake
12- Exhaust

Just want to make sure.

Pete,

First of all, you are not THE Pete, of Pete's Coffee, are you?!? If so, I love your frickin' coffee

Anyway, your order looks right, w/o being able to see my 2F in front of me.

The FSM says to line up the #1 hole at TDC and then adjust a prescribed number of valves, rotate crank 360 and then do the others...

A little key is to do the valve #'s they say, front to back, and then when you turn the crank, just treat 12 as 1 an do the same order, back to front.

Also, looking at your exhaust manifold will verify which valve you are working on...

No not the Peet of Petes coffee. I do drink it every morning though to get me going.

The adjustment order I understand I was looking a s ervice manual and it did not show which valves were which. So I I was trying to clarify.

Your order is correct. When you are adjusting the valves and you get tired of counting them off, or comparing their position to your list, remember that the ones lined-up with your air rail injectors (or plugs on the head) are the exhaust valves.
