Valve Adjustment for 1982 FJ40

Hello,

I have a 82 FJ40 Middle East Spec that needs one of the valves adjusted. Can you kindly provide me the spec for Cold Adjustment.

the hot spec is 008 intake and 014 exhaust. those are thousandths of inches...wish we used the metric system here, but we don't, so I can't give you those specs in non usa. you'd be fine to adjust all the valves cold to these specs, then readjust after hot to these specs. or, cold is usually one thousandth more than hot...so you could set them cold to .009 and .015 and be just fine
