Value of a 1980 HJ45 Trropy (1 Viewer)

I have a chance to purchase a pretty clean (no rust at all but could use paint) Aussie import HJ45 Troopy. The motor is a bit weak but overall the Cruiser is nicer than most I have seen. I like that body style a ton and would probably resto-mod with an eye towards re-sale.

Whats the going rate for these things

on ebay they are going for over 8-20k right now but as soon as your deviate from the resto toward mod you will subtracting from what its worth even if you are upgrading things. if you are going to build this to resell I would keep it as stock as possible.
