Two questions:
1. Is the bottom port for the vader light?
2. What are the top pieces for? Looks like something would attach from the outside of each of those.

These are not Vader light related. Looks like mounting brackets for something and maybe a mic jack or speaker jack. Your dash doesn't have the proper holes for a Vader light. Maybe an OEM Hardtop FJ40 or a dash transplant?

Here is a picture of a Vader light I just installed in my truck along with the OEM switch.

Top pieces maybe a cup holder attachment? Seems like a good place to store a road soda as a passenger.

That would make perfect sense. I will google image search that.

None of it is OEM. Bottom looks a plug. Any wires run to it. Top two look like a hand may have been attached at some point. I never seen one like it before.
No wires, but I also tore out a ton of non functional wiring when I first got it.

My 73 has tons of non OEM wiring. A PO used a trailer light plug to connect the home made winch controller. That is a Vader light and switch which are original to the cruiser since it's a FST.

Registration expired in 1988. Cruiser hasn't been used since then. Cruiser was offered to me at a price I couldn't refuse in 1994.

Why the hell did so many PO's have to make their dashes look like the cock pit of a Boeing 747!
Back when people had nothing, and you could buy nothing; having something was actually cool.
Now people have everything, and you can buy all manner of crap online; nobody wants it. ;)

The top parts look like a toilet roll holder bracket we had in the 80s. Handy in the passenger seat?
…especially next to the Oh Sh*t grab bar!
