Does anyone know what pressure the vaccum should be at on a cruiser? (HJ61 specifically) I am still having issues with my brake system and am wondering if maybe I'm not getting the vacuum I should.. I couldn't find anything in the 84 chassis manual as to what it should be..

Right now its at 22-24PSI (negative I guess :))

The system is tight and holds vacuum for several hours so I don't appear to have leaks..

I tested a parts rig today, and it was at -27-28. When I get a chance I will check Petra's too. iirc you can get the vanes from Toyota, and replace the ones in the vacum pump.

Thanks GB.. I'm kind of at a loss with this brake thing still.. I'm going to have a shop look at it today to see if they have any ideas..

I swapped out the booster, M/C and prop valve to another set and it made no diff :(
