Vacuum Modulator Valve fixed my P401 code.... (1 Viewer)

Had a frequently occuring 401 code and did some troubleshooting and eliminated it down to the VMV or the VSV.

Purchased a VMV from C'Dan and that fixed it....... at least for now. FYI, the newer version of the VMV has a "blue" top.

Most on here seem to run into that about 150k miles.
Make sure you clean out all those small lines and port holes they are notorious from getting clogged. It doesn't take much.
I also went ahead and took of the egr valve and cleaned it good. PB blast or wd40 is a must to get the pipe flange off the back. Let it sit over night.

I also replaced my modulator with the "blue" top. I want to crack open my old one to take a look inside. lol
