okay, so i have an 80' fj40 and im replacing all the vaccum lines, after replacing them all the thought crossed me that since it doesn't need to pass emissions if i need them all...so my question is, would the cruiser run okay without the majority of the vaccum line (blocked off of course) and what ones would i need to keep? thanx in advance...

Keep the ones that go to the carb and distributor advance. You can blook off the one to the EGR valve and the one to the distributor retard.

thanx alot...sorry for the ignorance, but isn't the 1980 fi?

also theirs alot more of them than what you mentioned...theirs prolly 15-20 feet of them...
