looking to fix/replace all my vac hoses this spring, where is the best place to buy it? what is the best kind? what sizes will i need?
Thanks for the help

search for mcmaster carr for the size needed

I ordered the silcone tube from Mcmaster, if I don't like it the Dealer and get the part number you listed in a day or two for 3.21. I did see one person ask the question about the tubing saying "not rated for vacuum" does anybody have any problems with this stuff?
Thanks

From what I've read (on here) the hose is 5.5mm and 3mm. Those seem hard to find. I see a lot of 5mm and 6mm all over the place (Amazon and such) but not much 5.5mm. However, I did a quick search for 5.5mm vacuum hose on google and saw this:

1988-1991 Volvo 780 Turbo Braided Vacuum Hose

That's a 5.5mm vacuum hose with a braided exterior for 1.49/foot. That seems like a pretty good deal.

Anyone have any thoughts on that hose?

the 3mm you can get from mcmaster.com for about $1 per foot. Mcmaster also has a 6mm, but not a 5 or 5.5mm ID. The 6mm might work OK. I don't remember what I used, but I did mine about 10 years ago and their selection may have changed.
