What is the cost of a fj40 f2 conversion to a chevy 350? What are the advantages to each engine? Can a moron like myself figure out the swap on my own? What are good resources for crate engines or any reliable v8? Thanks.

Finished price depends on how much you do yourself. I absolutely refuse to pay someone else for something I can do myself. I also have a considerable pile of parts and many connections. Point is, you can spend anywhere from $1000 for a junkyard home job to $5000 for a "bolt on beauty". Most of us, I think, are somewhere in between.
